Mr Kempes Papa Nii Ofosuware, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Tema East, has said the re-election of President Mahama is certain.
He said Ghanaians would not be swayed by threats and intimidation, having seen his good works and dedication to their cause.
Mr Ofosuware was addressing a peace football gala organised by Dynasty Empire, an event organizers at B-park in Tema Newtown.
The event, which was sponsored by Mr Ofosuware and the Chief Executive of Tema Metropolitan Assembly, was on the theme,” The role of the youth in sustenance of peace before, during and after 2016 elections”.
Mr Ofosuware advised the youth to be God-fearing and apply wisdom to life in all their undertakings, including education and politics.
“Reject people who come calling and enticing you to foment trouble. They don”t seek your welfare. In fact, they are nation wreckers,” he said.
Mr Mensah Otabil, Chairman, Dynasty Empire, thanked Mr Ofosuware, the Tema MCE and the Tema Traditional Council for their support.
Site 20 of Tema Community One won the gala by beating Tema Newtown AC Milan 3-1 on penalties.
