Ghanaian Hip hop, Hiplife and Afropop Artiste popularly known as Strongman Burner has revealed how Sarkodie betrayed him when he featured him in the ‘Odo’ track but used the verse of Ebony Reigns on the main song.
Some time ago, a video released online captured Sarkodie performing Odo, coupled with rapper Strongman delivering some enthralling bars on the song. The performance was backed vocally by Akwaboah.
Barely a week ago, Sarkodie released his much-anticipated 6-track tape dubbed, “Alpha”. The tape has been performing very well digitally since its release. The album had ‘Odo’ with Ebony’s voice on there.
Strongman in an Interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM’s Ayekoo Drive said “it was during Ebony’s funeral that he knew Sarkodie and Ebony worked on the project together at an earlier time. “He sang the song there and I realized he featured her”.
“I didn’t know Ebony was on the song earlier and Sarkodie gave it to me as a gift. I was sure I was definitely the one he was going to feature on it”
“I am hurt if I say I am not then I am telling lies Because I didn’t know ebony was on the song earlier and Sarkodie gave it to me”
He, however, assured that he is still going to release the same song with his verse on it.
Strongman is currently promoting his new song ‘Crazy For You’ featuring KelvyBoy.
