I used to punish my artistes anytime they misbehave – Hammer reveals

Popular music producer turned business man Hammer has made some revelations concerning how he used to discipline his artistes.

Hammer has dropped a secret concerning how he used to put his artistes in check anytime they misbehave.

According to the ace producer, he used to go to the extent of letting his artistes kneel down and raise their hands as a sign of discipline.

In a report sighted online, Hammer shared his experience concerning how he used to discipline musicians.

It was a boot camp in the studio premises. you can come to the studios to see artistes kneel down in the studios with their hands up for fighting,” he noted.

“When my boys get somewhere they feel invincible. What can you do? The way I have drilled them there is nothing that you can do that they haven’t faced,” he added.

Hammer went on to reveal that he never condoned indiscipline since discipline help people to become successful.

Deducing from his comment, it meant that muscians like Sarkodie, Obrafour, Edem, Kwaw Kese, Tinny among others went through same ordeal.

“I used to punish my artistes anytime they misbehave because at the time I don’t tolerate indiscipline,” he noted.

Hammer, born Edward Nana Poku Osei is undoubtedly one of Ghana’s most prolific music sound engineers to have made a mark in the industry.

Over the years, Hammer recorded and produced hit songs for top artistes like Obrafour, Sarkodie, Edem among others.

He literally groomed and made most of the top rappers that Ghana has ever seen as he was the king of hiplife beats.

However, Hammer is no more producing beats as he had announced the end of his music production career.

He noted at the time that music production was no more profitable enough to sustain him, thus going on a long break.

Currently, Hammer has gone into entrepreneurship as he is part of the management of FIAT Africa as well as manufacturers of A1 bread.
