A female pupil of Kulmasa D/A Junior High School in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba district of the Savanna Region, who is one of the candidates writing this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) had no choice than to wet herself when the Assistant Headmaster of Tuna Senior High/Technical School, who doubles as the supervisor of the exam, refused to grant her the permission to step out to use the washroom.
The pupil told Bole-based Nkilgi FM that she felt the urge to pass urine during the Religious and Moral Education Exam Paper 2 which was written on Monday, 10 June 2019 and sought permission on two separate occasions from the supervisor to use the washroom but was not granted.
With her bladder full, she said she could not hold it in any longer, thus, urinated on herself in the examination room.
She subsequently collapsed and was rushed to the Tuna Health Centre for medical attention.
