Residents atAtonsu-Fabi in the Asokwa Municipality in Kumasi have spat red on Gov’t and city authorities to address their plights else they should be ready for an unprecedented demonstration.

Naming their plights as sanitation, poor road network and lack of security, the aggrieved residents revealed that authorities are aware of these but have turned deaf ears, they told ghanawish.com

On the poor road network, the residents stated that the contractor who is in charge of Atonsu-Esereso stretch has laid down tools claiming government owes him.

They added that due to this they can’t ply the road when it rains.

“For the past three months our taps don’t flow. Now we don’t get water to perform house chores. One has to buy sachet water and use it to bath”, they bemoaned bitterly

Touching on security issues which have become a headache and a burden to them, the residents uttered that their life is at risk.

They elaborated that day in and out robbers are on their nerves attacking them lamenting by 7pm one can’t go out.

“Henceforth if we catch any robber we won’t send him to police station we will beat him to death”, – they uttered angrily to Nana Owusu Achiaw aka Kote beka.

They have, however, pleaded with government and city authorities to address their plights else they will face their wrath.
