Yaw Kodom, a subject and a royal of the Nkoranza traditional council is on the run after he was caught having sexual intercourse [Homosexual] with his fellow man at the chief’s palace in Nkoranza. The chiefs and opinion leaders in the community held a press conference and explained as follows:
PRESS STATEMENT BY NKORANZA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL
We are are chiefs of Akuma and Yaw Kodom is our son. Our son Yaw Kudom has caused an abomination to the stool of Nkoranza traditional council and is currently on the run. Yaw Kodom slept with a fellow man in the chief’s palace, something prohibited by our tradition and the stool of Nkoranza. For this reason the gods are angry with the traditional stool and the whole community and it would serves Yaw Kodom right if he returns home to perform the rituals.
Sleeping with same sex partner is an abomination in our tradition not to talk of having intimacy with same sex partner in the Chief’s palace. Yaw Kodom is nowhere to be found and we are currently looking for him. Whoever have seen him, should let us know we want him as soon as possible to let him go through the rite of the stool. If he fails to show up to perform the sacrifices the gods would use his blood for sacrifice because his actions has subjected the stool to a disgrace.
We have sent notices with his pictures out there and anyone who finds him will be rewarded handsomely. Yaw Kodom must pay for what he did in the Palace by sleeping with a fellow man and that is abomination to the stool.
