Critic and outspoken prophet Nigel Gaisie claims that the Ghana Police Service (GPS) has more important matters to deal with than the threats it has made against churches for prophesying on the watch night of December 31.

Prophetic Hill Chapel’s founder and leader responded angrily to a previous threat made to prophets by the Ghana Police Service.

According to a statement from the Ghana Police Service, “the Ghana Police Service on December 27th issued a warning against illegal broadcasts of predictions ahead of the 31st December watch night celebrations.

Additionally, the police pleaded with the populace, particularly prophets and pastors, to exercise caution when making their forecasts.

In a statement, the Ghana Police Service noted that “a year ago today, December 27, 2021, the Ghana Police Service drew the general public’s attention, especially members of the religious community, to the law regarding the communication of prophecies and encouraged compliance with the law to ensure continuous security and law and order in the country.

“There are other prophets like him who are preparing to tell what God has given to them this 31st December so all the Prophet are ready to announce what God has given to them,” he continued, “so these threats do not frighten them.

“However, there are more serious issues they (Ghana Police Service) should give their attention to. They should leave the prophets and the church and let’s do the work of God, he chided.
