23-Year-Old Boy Breaks Away With Father’s GH¢9,500; Leaves Behind A Forgiveness Letter

In Assin Fosu, a 23-year-old boy named Kwame Gabriel has dishonestly taken his stepfather’s GH¢9,500 and iPhone, leaving a letter to substantiate the grounds for his actions.

In an interview with Angel Fm Reporter Kwame Owusu Asante Shadrack, the victim, Mr. Kwakye Joseph, a private security employee in Assin Fosu, stated that he was offered GH¢10,000 by a buddy to store such an amount.

He does, however, share a room with his brother’s kid, Kwame Gabriel. The money was stored on the boy’s blind side, but on Thursday, Mr. Kwakye discovered that the money he had retained had been decreased by 9,500ghc.

He was able to identify the criminal since the child left a note behind the GH¢500 inside the bag attesting to his involvement in the crime. In TWi, he penned this letter.

“Hi daddy, so all this while you have been keeping such huge money in this room whiles we suffer in poverty. I sincerely plead for forgiveness for the reason that I have taken your money. I know it’s painful but bear with me. I am pleading with you to keep calm because I shall one day present to you more than the money I have taken. I pray to God to grant you long life for I shall turn your sorrows into joy. The most painful of it all is about how you have refused to give me one cedi all this one to purchase water”.

Meanwhile, according to Mr. Kwakye, the 9,500ghc that Kwame Gabriel took would be spent on a connection or a trade that will take him to Dubai, and all efforts to locate this child have been useless.

Mr. Kwakye, the victim, has reported the crime to the Assin Fosu District Police and seeks to have Kwame Gabriel arrested so that he can pay back his own.

Meanwhile, the victim has vowed to commit himself since he can no longer handle the pressure from the money’s owner.
