President Akufo-Addo was the target of jeers and catcalls as he traveled to see active projects in the Eastern Region.

The president’s convoy was met by a large number of residents in the neighborhood as they made their way to Akim Akroso.

The group of citizens and craftsmen didn’t waste any time in expressing their discontent with the current economic condition after spotting the trucks carrying the president and other government representatives.

In a video captured by GhanaWish.com, the residence can be seen joining the chorus of jeers as the convoy moved on.

In prosperous times, the citizens of the New Patriotic Party stronghold would wave enthusiastically as they welcomed the President.
All of that love seems to have been undermined by the economic crisis and its accompanying rising problems.
