FAKE LAWYER ARRESTED

It has come under the spotlight that, Eric Appiah Forson who claims himself as a lawyer has been arrested by the Ashanti regional command for defrauding two persons to the tune of forty mine thousand Ghana cedis.

It is alleged that the said imposter always conducts himself as a lawyer working with Dominion Chambers in Kumasi, and often paste up a sticker that identifies him as such on his windscreen.

Speaking in an interview, Isaac Kwasi Badu, who has suffered through the diabolical means of the aforementioned imposter said, Eric Appiah Forson was hired as a lawyer to drive certain Miner away from Apampatia lands in the Atiwa West District, Eastern region.

He noted that, the chief of Apampatia, Nana Owusu Akyim Boahene, II, gave Eric Appiah Forson, (fake lawyer) money on several occasions totalling forty nine thousand Ghana cedis. But Eric Appiah Forson, after receiving huge sums of money, began to tell lies, and at some point, he said he will take the matter up to the Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, to resist the Miner from mining on the said lands.

In the light of this, Isaac Kwasi Badu and Nana Owusu Akyim Boahene (victims) realized that Eric Appiah Forson is not a lawyer as he claims to be, and began to seek his whereabout.

Isaac Kwasi Badu (victim) disclosed that, when he called Eric Appiah Forson to ascertain whether he was available for discussion between the two, Appiah Forson made it clear to him that he is on his way to Bekwai. But Isaac, who was bent on arresting Appiah Forson moved along the principal Street of Santasi, and spotted him at Total Filling Station, opposite Opoku-Ware S.H.S.

Isaac stressed that, when he saw him, he approached him, but he jumped into his car and wanted to knock Isaac down with the vehicle.

He narrated that, in order to save his live, he lied on the bonnet of the vehicle. And Appiah Forson, having bad intentions, began accelerating the movement of the car and driving carelessly and unnecessary applying the brake, with the view to getting Isaac off the bonnet.

Isaac hinted that, Appiah Forson then took him to Kokoben new site, driving roughly on deplorable roads, and fortunately the road was blocked by abandoned Kia Truck, and immediately screamed for help.

According to him, the residents of the area rushed to the scene and led the two to the Kokoben police station, because both were shouting a thief to each other.
