Yesterday marked the 30th wedding anniversary of Former President Mahama and his wife, the Former First Lady of Ghana, Lordina Mahama.

In light of this, many poured congratulatory messages and praises on the pair and testified to the generosity and love they have shown not only for themselves but also for others.
Empress Gifty, wife of NPP’s Hopeson Adorye shared a picture of a couple on her Facebook page with a heart-warming message.

In her post, the ‘ADOM’ singer tagged the Mahamas and called them her ‘Parents’ and gave reasons for her public appreciation.

She wrote:
“I want to celebrate MY PARENTS, I have my reasons for calling them MY PARENTS. They stood in the gap for me when I lost everything. First Lady @Lordina Mahama was there for me as a MOTHER and made sure I was okay. Former President @John Dramani Mahama stood as a FATHER. I will never forget what they did for me. I celebrate you today on your 30th marriage anniversary, it is not a small journey and I tap into this blessing. May God continue to bless your path Mummy and Daddy. I dedicate your favorite song F3f33f3 from my repertoire to you as you celebrate how far you’ve come NOKO CONGRATULATION”

Fans of the Gospel singer applauded her for congratulating the couple despite the political barrier present.

John and Lordina Mahama inaugurated a 45-bed capacity and fully equipped Maternity and Children’s Ward for the Bole District Hospital to commemorate their 30th Anniversary Celebration.
