After the implementation of the E-Levy, Diana Asamoah has said that the tax would benefit Ghanaians, despite the unfavourable opinions voiced by the majority of Ghanaians.
During an interview with ZionFelix, she remarked that President Akufo-Addo can improve the nation provided Ghanaians back him with whatever resources they have available.
Diana Asamoah, an evangelist, spoke about David’s ability to rescue the Israelites with what he had at his disposal.
She insisted that Ghanaians should regard themselves as Israelites and that President Nana Addo should be seen as David.
Therefore, Diana Asamoah encouraged Ghanaians to trust in their own abilities.
Her views on the 1.5 percent E-Levy tax are similar, with the exception of the fact that she believes it will assist authorities in addressing the economic crisis sooner rather than later.
As a reminder, E-levy has been passed by parliament and will take effect from 1st May, 2022.
Despite the passage of e-levy, the minority in Ghana’s parliament are set to challenge it, at the supreme court.
According to them the passage of e-levy is illegal because parliament lacked the required numbers to do so.
