A 20-year-old lady was murdered by her alleged boyfriend At Parkoso in the Ashanti region’s Asokore Mampong district,
“A portion of the head had been smashed with a cement block, and attack marks could be observed all over the body.” According to a Police status report, “the body of the deceased was brought and put in Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital mortuary for preservation pending identification and autopsy.”
Kwasi Bonsu, 26, was also transported to Manhyia Government Hospital for treatment after being rescued and critically injured by a mob.
“The deceased’s name was given as Samira from Plaza by the suspect, who said she was his lover.” According to the police report, he accused dead of being unfaithful to him.
The suspect has been released from the hospital and is being held by police.
