Over 30 Government Procured Ambulances Left And Rotting Less Than A Year [Video]

The report available to GhanaWish, Over 30 Government Procured Ambulances left to rot less than a year at the Tafo Government Hospital in Kumasi.

According to Silver Fm reporter Akwadaa Nyame,  ”One Constituency One Ambulance” Procured by NPP Government are left and rotting.

Speaking on Silver FM Morning show, Akwadaa Nyame stated that he was ask to stop videoing the Ambulances at the Tafo Government Hospital and was being sacked by security men around.

On the 28th June 2020, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo commissioned and distributed the 307 ambulances recently bought to help supplement the National Ambulance Service’s operations on Tuesday (NAS).

The new ambulances was distributed throughout Ghana’s 275 constituencies as part of the government’s 2016 election campaign to boost emergency healthcare delivery.

The initiative is called “One Constituency, One Ambulance” and is run by the Ministry of Special Development.
