Northern regional minister, Alhaji Salifu Saeed together with some traditional rulers on Sunday received the overlord of Dagbon, His masjesty Ya-Naa Mahama Abukari II at the Kumasi airport.
The overlord was welcomed at the airport together with his entourage to attend the 20th anniversary of the Asantehene.
His arrival, according to Aide to the Northern regional minister, Mr Abreh Rahaman Yarina was met with a massive crown from Dagbon community in Kumasi amidst drumming and dancing through some streets to his residency.
The king and the array crown were provided with adequate security personnel through out the activities.
Some of the traditional rulers included, the chief of Mion, Naa Mahamadu Abdulai, the chief of Diari, Naa Abukari, the chief of Pisheigu, Naa Alhassan Andani, Dagbon Demana, and several others.
The Northern regional minister who led the overlord to the anniversary ground, has been very instrumental to the peace, and development of Dagbon.
