I did not account for President traveling Expenses – Ken Ofori Atta To Parliament

President Akuffo-Addo has been in the headlines lately for hiring a luxurious private to do his international travels. According to estimates, the private jet the president used cost Ghana about $28M just because the president wanted a plane he can bath inside.

 The minority of Parliament house has been urging The minister of finance, Ken Ofori Atta to give accounts for the actual expenses the president Akuffo-Addo incurred.

The minister of finance always misses the sitting but finally opened up to the Parliament concerning the accounts of the president traveling expenses.

According to Ken Ofori Atta, he doesn’t give accounts to the president traveling expenses and for that he can’t tell the actual amount president Akuffo-Addo spent on the private jet to took.

“I don’t account for the president’s traveling expenses, am accountable for the national budget and and expenses. There is someone who account for the president’s traveling expenses” Ken Ofori Atta told Parliament House.
