MP and constituents carry Stones to fix deplorable road

The Member of Parliament, Honourable Amidu Chinnia Issahaku in his address, said, he has formally reported the deplorable state of the road to the Feeder roads.

The Member of Parliament for the Sissala East Constituency in the Upper West Region, Honourable Amidu Chinnia Issahaku over the weekends joined his constituent at communal labour in fixing portions of a deplorable road.

The Constituents included residents of the Kasana and its adjoining communities.

Both residents and Hon. Amidu Chinnia Issahaku engaged their physical strength in fixing the road with stones and however hope for a permanent solution.

 

The road was washed away after a heavy downpour couple of days ago, which brought challenges to person’s plying on it.

Aside from the hard labour, Hon. Amidu Chinnia made a donation of 20 bags of cement and GH₵1,000.00 to the residents as part of the temporal measures.

The MP in his address said, he has formally reported the situation to the Feeder roads and a team from that Unit have since visited the site.

He pledged his commitment to pressure the management of the Feeder Roads to work on the road with immediate effect.
