Kumasi Washing bay attendant returns millions of found money

Despite the current economic hardships, you can rest assured that there are still honest men out there.

Meet Mr. Obeng, affectionately called Agyabeng, a man in his fifties and a worker at KMA Shell as a washing bay attendant. He has surprised many by returning a huge amount of money he found at the Kejetia market.

During an interview with our reporter, he recounts stepping on an unusual polythene bag at the “trotro” station on his way to work at Adum.

He decided to check it, opened it and to his surprise, it was money, and a huge amount to be precise. Got confused that very moment and decided to return it to Kessben Media. Surprising! Isn’t it? Yes, Because you can imagine how much he earns in a day as a washing bay attendant. And you can bet that this is something most people find hard to do.

Being a Christian and a member of St. Catholic Church at Sepe Tempom a suburb of Kumasi, we say thank you and God bless you for exhibiting good morals and that we celebrate you for being the good man that you are.

If you know anyone that has misplaced monies within the central business area of Kumasi, kindly contact the front desk of Kessben media for identification and collection.
