+ Photos: Rural Enterprise supports Graduate Artisans with Equipments in Sawla District

The Sawla-Tuna Kalba District through the Business Advisory Centre (BAC), and Rural Enterprise yesterday Wednesday April 17, 2019 to support some Artisans in the District to help them setup their own businesses.

The Artisans who are Carpenters and Masons went home with various working equipment like Saws, planes, measuring tapes, hammers, spokeshave, drills, etc while the carpenters masons also had wheelbarrows, trowels, spirit level and other working equipments.

Nine carpenters including one Mason received the items respectively.

The District Chief Executive DCE) for Sawla Tuna Kalba Hon. Lawal Tamimu said they decides that all apprentice get some tools to begin something and that the Sawla Assembly will make sure that it covers most of the Artisans in the district.

The Business Advisory Centre (BAC) Coordinator for Bole District who also serves as the Acting coordinator for Sawla Mr Siina Adama also entreated the Artisans to take good care of the equipments and put them to good use.

One of the beneficiaries of the working tools Mr Mr Bukari Hudu spoke to Nkilgi FM saying they will make good use of the equipments. He said they will not sell the equipment and called for periodic inspection by officials from the Business Advisory Centre.

With excitement he praised and thanked the Sawla-Tuna- Kalba District Assembly.
