John Mahama Drops Tall List Of Problems That Need Fixing In Ghana

Former President John Dramani Mahama has dropped a tall list of challenges confronting the nation at the moment that needs fixing.

The former President took to his Facebook page a few minutes ago to post the challenges as the National Democratic Congress commemorate the June 4 uprising.

According to Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the country is currently saddled with Economic hardships that have left many people in the country complaining.

He added that insecurity is also a bane in the country where most residents feel unsafe. His comment is coming a few weeks after some national security officers attacked a journalist with Citi FM and Television.

The next on the list of challenges enumerated by the former President is political and ethnic polarization.

He adds that inequality keeps deepening with corruption in every part of the country.

John Dramani Mahama also touched on the free Senior High School policy and its associated challenges. He also added that there are serious challenges in the Country’s health sector which the current president must focus on fixing. He described the economy as being in a dire straits.

“Forty two years on, our economy and democracy are in dire straits. Deepening inequality Insecurity, political and ethnic polarization, Economic Hardships, politicization of our democratic Institutions, serious problems in education and health sectors and corruption, are the challenges confronted with our daily lives. This has led to a crisis of confidence in the political leadership”. He noted.

 

Mr. John Dramani Mahama indicated that the current government must open up for broader consultation of other ideas.

He says there are several exceptional human talents in the country who can come on board to help the situation. He says time is currently ticking fast and things must be made right to change the fortunes of the country for the better.

Mr. John Dramani Mahama believes timely broad consultations can bring bright solutions that can lead to economic recovery strategies.

Mr. John Dramani Mahama saluted the late former President Jerry John Rawlings for his efforts over the years in the June 4th celebration.

He says the inspirational presence of the late Jerry John Rawlings will be missing for the first time in the celebration.
