A man has been spotted in a viral video holding his head in anguish and pacing about aimlessly whilst crying uncontrollably.
Apparently, he has lost his plush mansion he placed on a bet regarding the Manchester City and Chelsea Champions League finals after the latter triumphed in a game watched by millions of soccer fans across the world.
In a thrilling encounter played in the city of Porto, Havertz scored the winner with three minutes to go before half-time.
The 21-year-old took a superb through-ball by the exceptional Mason Mount beyond Ederson in the Man City goal and rounded the on-rushing keeper before slotting it cooly into the empty net.
There have been wild celebrations by Chelsea fans in Africa and beyond but this man herein confidently placed his house on bet while counting on Manchester City to emerge as winners.
Unfortunately, things did not go the way he expected and now he’s going to be homeless in the interim.
