Kumawood actress Portia Asare has delved into her failed marriage. In 2019, she said she did not marry because of love but because she was pressured.
Perhaps, that explains why her marriage failed.
Speaking in an interview with Delay, she reveals that she was not happy in her marriage and she knows that had nothing to do with the fact that her husband is a man of God.
“My former husband was neither violent nor a womanizer but we just didn’t click. I did what a wife would do to make her husband happy. My direction was different from his so we could not make things work.
“I was married to him for five years but separated for two years and we finally called it off.”
She believes she would find love again although she has two kids from her first marriage, there is a man out there who would not mind.
“I am also a devoted Christian who loves to serve God well so marrying a pastor was not the issue. I am not the first woman to be divorced neither would I be the last.
“I have two children, a boy, and a girl, but I will definitely marry again. I know there is a man out there who will love and cherish me even though I have two children.”
In her movie career, she discloses that she has been self-producing herself for some time now and we should expect some movies from her.
