A viscous woman in Adoagyiri village has handed herself to police after chopping off her Husbands manhood over his refusal to make love with her.
Mary Ofori, a mother of 3 and resident of Adoagyiri village, a town in the Akuapim South Municipal district in Eastern Region chopped, Paul Osei who is 40 years old several times in front of their children on Wednesday night.
According to the resort by residents around, Mary locked up her husband and the children in one roomed residence where she started cutting her husband with a knife on the head ,stomach and his manhood.
Mary accused her husband of sleeping with other women while refusing to make love with her for the past 7 months.
residents say Mary had even previously reported the matter to leaders for intervention but the fights between the 2 never ended but instead got worse.
“As a community, we would often attend reconciliation meetings of that particular couple, but their fights were almost reported on a weekly basis despite their frequent commitments to live a harmonious marital life,” one man told Ghanawish.com Editor Godwin Fullah
residents claim when the incident happened, Mary was heard shouting at her husband Paul while accusing him of failing to fulfill his duty as a man and husband.
They say moments later, Pual was overheard shouting in a faint voice which prompted them to intervene, only to find him lying in a pool of blood.
The Municipal district police spokesperson, Michael Kasadha confirms the incident and says the suspect voluntarily handed herself over to police authorities has since been detained at central police station awaiting prosecution.
