A 27-year-old lady called Gloria Eshun has been beaten severely by her sister’s husband, Kofi Carpenter, 30 for taking his sachet water at Ajumako Mando Tayil in Ajumako Enyan Essiam district of Ghana
He flogged the victim till blood was oozing her mouth.
Speaking to Nana Tawiah the victim said she took the sachet water (20 pesewas) because she was very thirsty. But pleaded to buy it for Kofi Carpenter.
The infuriated Kofi Carpenter then insulted her which went through her head therefore she also replied.
Kofi Carpenter got so much upset to the extent that he beat her mercilessly till blood was oozing via her mouth in the absence of her elder sister (wife of Kofi Carpenter).
The victim, Gloria Eshun, told Hope FM News that it took someone to save her from Kofi, if not she would have been dead by now because Kofi Carpenter had wanted to kill her.
According to her, the case has been reported to the Ajumako police station but Kofi carpenter has run away since morning.
She had gone for treatment at a hospital but couldn’t afford the bill.
She has however appealed to all Ghanaians to assist her, get money to pay her bills.
