Twene Jonas blasts Bawumia, MPs & Ministers for abandoning UDS students amid water crisis

One-man crusader, Twene Jonas, has fired direct shots at Ghana’s vice president, Dr. Bawumiah, Northern Region MPs and Ministers amid the ongoing water crisis in UDS.

The University for Development Studies (UDS) is well-known to be a hub for water crisis, especially the Nyankpala campus that has always been in the news for students sharing drinking water with animals.

On March 1, 2021, a UDS Professor, Professor Saa Dittoh slammed Ghanaian politicians for being so focused on winning elections in 2024 when real issues of the people remain unresolved.

So it seems, the University is still suffering from water crisis leading to severe outbreak of unknown diseases as students continue to share water with animals – cows, gots, etc.

This has earned the attention of loudmouth social media commentator, Twene Jonas who is known for having an opinion on everything happening in Ghana.

According to Jonas, he can’t fathom how and why a region with MPs, Ministers, and even a vice president will be hit with water crisis in its premium university.

He bluntly called all the politicians from the Northern Region of Ghana “fools”.
