Okudzeto Ablakwa Resigns From Parliament’s Appointment Committee

Member of Parliament for the people of North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has today submitted his resignation letter to the Speaker of Parliament, RT Honourable Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin specifying clearly that he wants to step down as a member of the Appointments Committee.

According to Hon. Ablakwa, his decision to resign from the committee is best known to him as he described it as personal.

Mr. Ablakwa has been a member of the committee since the 6th Parliament which was inaugurated in 2013.

He delivered the letter to the Speaker, Alban Bagbin, and the Minority Leader, Haruna Idrissu on Tuesday night.
