A man has been killed by unknown assailants at Gomoa Budumburam in the Central Region.
The lifeless body of the man believed to be in his sixties was found bound around an electricity pole at Dennis a suburb community of Gomoa Budumburam on Sunday, March 21, 2021.
According to the residents, the victim is not known in the community.
The incident has heightened fear among residents who say this is not the first time such an incident has been recorded.
The Assembly Member for the Budumburam Electoral Area, Hon. Lots Arthur told Bryt FM’s Central Regional News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah that, the area needs additional Police personnel to beef up security the area.
But for the time been, requested regular police patrols in the area to help control the high rate of crime in the Budumburam community.
The body of the deceased has been retrieved and deposited at the morgue by Police while the investigation continues.
