Rapper Medikal has obviously had enough of Ghanaians especially his colleagues in the industry refer to him as a “fraud boy” which is local parlance for internet scammer.
This attribute has been in existence since the inception of his career. Other rappers who engage in a lyrical battle with him always use this against him by saying his money is not from music.
Given the chance to dispel any rumour about him, Medikal who was on Nana Romeo’s program on Accra FM let it all out.
“Honestly, my whole life, I’ve never touched fraud money before. All my flashy lifestyle is from music. I recently went to America. All my ticket fees were paid from my Tunecore account, that’s from music,” he said.
“I want every youth to understand that you can make money genuinely from music, from shows, not shows alone but brand endorsements,” he added.
