The father of the late Dancehall act, Mr. Opoku Kwarteng has revealed in a new interview on Hitz FM that Bullet had told him there was a collaboration between her daughter and Wendy Shay.
It’s obvious that the song will never see the light of the day owing to the animosity between Bullet and Mr. Kwarteng, aka Starboy Kwarteng since Ebony died in a ghastly accident exactly three years ago.
In the interview, he said;
“According to Bullet, there’s a collaboration between Ebony and Wendy Shay.”
He also spoke about how he gave his daughter the best of training as well as how he really wanted her to become a lawyer.
“Ebony never lacked. She had all she wanted. What you heard about her, regarding her lacking was not true.
When Ebony revealed to me that she wanted to do music, I drove her out of my room, because I wanted her to become a lawyer. She came back 15 minutes later, with the same demand, and I gave her my blessing.
I gave Ebony the best of training. Ebony dressed the way she did because it was part of her craft, the type of music she was pursuing. Look at the lawyers this hot afternoon? Do you think they are happy wearing what they are wearing? It’s part of their job so they had to.”
