Residents of Doryumu-Abeka in the Shai Osudoku District in the Greater Accra region are in a state of shock as to what led to a gruesome murder of a 20-year-old lady identified as Juliette Obu.
The residents were awaken Monday night to the noise of the lady in question crying for help but only to find Juliette Obu in a pool of blood suspected to have been gruesomely murdered by unknown assailants
Some residents who last saw her disclosed that she was in the company with a young man suspected to be her boyfriend some few minutes before she was found dead in a pool of blood.
The young man in question is yet to be found and identified.
The residents in their state of shock cannot fathom what would trigger hatred about the young girl many describe as lively and friendly with everyone no ‘matter your status’.Others suspect it could be as a result of a relationship gone bad.
Doryumu Police Commander DSP Banini who confirmed the incident said the case has been transferred to the regional headquarters while investigators conveyed the body to the morgue.
