YFM Ghana’s most sought-after media personality, DJ Carcious born Hayford Obeng-Boahen made history at the maiden edition of the Ashanti Music Awards 2020.
The DJ who has within a space of year inked his name in the minds of many across the country as one of the best in his field was crowned the winner for the Best Locally Supporting Radio DJ of the Year.
To wild applause, the recognition came as no surprise especially for his glaring contribution to the growth of several talents including Gyakie, Phaize, Dead Peepol and several others.
The awards scheme took place on the 2nd January 2020, at the Dome of the Rattray Park in Kumasi.
Other winners included Kweku Flick, Amerado, Phaize and many others.
DJ Carcious is the regular DJ for the Mid-morning Radio Show (MMRS) on Y102.5FM in Kumasi. The show airs each weekday from 9 am to 12 pm. He is also the DJ for Wake N Bake, a weekend show which airs each Saturday from 6 am to 9 am.
