Three persons are battling for their live following a near fatal accident Tuesday morning involving a Toyota Pickup (Hard Body) truck with registration number GN 6381 – 12 on the Tamale-Yendi stretch.
The accident occurred at about 10am near Nantong-Zou, a farming community few kilometers from Tamale, the northern regional capital.
Sources say the vehicle with three occupants was returning from Yendi before it veered off the road.
The cause of the accident is not readily know eyewitnesses say the driver may have lost control of the steering wheel.
The vehicle somersaulted many times leaving the windscreens and other parts being damaged.
However, the victims, aided by some good samaritans were rushed to the Tamale Teaching Hospital after several calls to the Ghana Ambulance Service went unanswered.
