The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 3Music Awards, Sadiq Abdulai Abu has challenged Sarkodie over his claims that President Akufo-Addo solved dumsor.
In his latest song ‘Happy Day’ which featured Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie said Nana Addo deserves another term to rule Ghana because of his achievements.
Mentioning some of these achievements, the popular rapper eulogized the NPP flagbearer’s efforts in solving dumsor.
Few hours after the song was released, Sadiq, who is a communicator for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) took to his Twitter page to thrash the claims made by Sarkodie.
In the post, the 3Music boss stated that anyone who will say Dumsor was solved by Nana Akufo-Addo is ignorant.
He tweeted: “It’s ignorance for anyone to suggest the Nana Addo led administration solved Dumsor. When and how did they solve Dumsor? Such ignorance can’t be allowed to fester. By all means take your endorsement fees, but dont hoodwink your fans into believing your ignorance.”
