The Labour Commission of Ghana have sent a strong warning to the striking Nurses and mid wives to either return to work or forfeit their current allowances, salary deduction or gravely suffer been sacked from the Service.
Midwives and Registered Nurses all over Ghana are on strike drumming home a demand of rent, uniform among other allowances.
In other development the leader of the strike has been invited by the Ghana Police Service that explain why he still fueled the facilitation of the strike despite frequent warnings.
The Labor Commission have disregarded the strike as unlawful or unconstitutional and urged all meaning nurses to back off or suffer the grave effect of been laid off.
Hospitals have been abandoned as patients suffer without the presence of nurses. Pictures from the Kumasi based Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital saw some patients lying in wards without nurses.
The Nurses are however unperturbed as they have snubbed the threats from the Labor Commission as at press time.
