The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Secretary, Mr. Nando Francis and Constituency Organizer, Mr. Usif Alhassan of the Atebubu-Amantin Constituency have today been attacked and beaten mercilessly by the Bono East Regional Minute who doubles as the New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate for Atebubu-Amatin Constituency, Hon. Kofi Amoakohene’s Boys at the polling station in Atebubu.
The incident took place at the polling station where the registration for the Voters ID card is on going in line with EC’s preparations in compiling a new Voters Register for the 2020 elections.
Per the information at hand it has it that the two NDC Constituency Executives were attacked in the presence of the Armed Military Men who were brought in yesterday to the polling station since yesterday by the Regional Minister.
The Constituency Secretary Nando Francis is left with a fractured leg while Usif Alhassan the Organizer has bruises and cuts all over his body.
The Two Constituency NDC executives are currently being treated at the Atebubu Municipal Hospital.
