Sunyani East NPP Chairman Chased With Guns

The Sunyani East Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Mr. Frank Musah Damtarrh was in the early hours of today, GhanaXtra.Com can report

The incident happened when Mr. Damtarrh was returning from a private meeting around 1:30 am.

The assailants reportedly vowed to show the Chairman where “power lies” and “finish him” after it became apparent that their mission had failed.

Confirming the incident, Mr. Damtarrh revealed he suspected he was being trailed when he was going to his residence around 1:00 am so he took a security precaution by driving to the police station.

“We were returning from a meeting but I suspected we were being trailed by four cars so we quickly branched to the nearest police station to report and seek protection.

“Even with that, the assailants who are known party guys were spotted in front of the police station wielding guns and issuing threats to us”.
