Conference Of Heads Of Basic Schools Accept Lockdown Pregnant BECE Girls

The Conference of Heads of Basic Schools COHBS in a meeting with the Minister of Education and the Director General of the Ghana Education Service has come to a conclusion on victims of teenage pregnant BECE Girls during the Lock Down.

Schools were initially closed as Directed by the President His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo. This decision has been reverted for final year students to come back to school and prepare for their Basic schools certificate Examination BECE.

The meeting concluded that parents should allow all pregnant girls come back to the classroom but with the necessary safety Protocols because the deadly Corona Virus is still with us.

Preparations towards the Basic Education Certificate Examination was halted due to the COVID 19 pandemic. With the student’s return to the classroom, they are set to take the exams as preparation is been made to open the whole school soon.
