Joint 77, one of the sacked members of the SM Militants has expressed profound gratitude to Shatta Wale for being the Midas touch to his musical career.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s DaybreakHitz Show, Joint 77 admitted to the great impact the brand Shatta Wale has made on his career.
He said he will forever be grateful to Shatta Wale for holding him down which influenced his decision to do a song to honour him.
I dedicated the “Shatta Wale” song to Shatta Wale because he has done a lot for me. I wanted to thank him for everything he has done for me, for putting me on. It’s a thanksgiving song.
Joint 77’s rise to the limelight came after Shatta Wale featured him alongside Captan, Addi Self, and Nattylee – all members of the defunct SM Militants on the hit song ‘Taking Over.’
However, the relationship between the group and their master, Shatta Wale has hit the rocks.
