The International God’s Way Church, will no more observe its usual Sunday service until further notice. Founder and Leader of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Angel Daniel Obinim says the decision had to be taken despite the easing of restrictions by the President.
Obinim said the church finds the protocols outlined by government for the reopening of the churches as a daunting task, and for which reason, they will not do a mass service as expected. He mentioned that he will only do counselling service on Sundays.
“The rules are too much. For IGWC, Obinim and my fans, we cant adhere to them. We don’t want to have any issues with the government. But I will do my usual counselling, every Sunday in Kumasi” he said.
Bishop Obinim disclosed that his membership are many, and if he should go by the 100 per congregation, he will be taking over a hundred sessions each service day.
“If i want to go by the protocols, I will be conducting a lot of service. First,, second. third, and even more than a hundred” he noted.
Commenting on his absence from church service, Bishop Obinim said, he wanted to focus on his spiritual fortification for some time.
“I have hidden myself for a while. There’s a reason and that is that I want to do more of the spiritual works”
