Wendy Shay and Fantana are label mates but since ‘Adam and Eve’, they’re known for jabbing one another to-and-fro.
She said:
“Wendy Shay is part of the local champions, not because I don’t like her or anything. But because she hasn’t really achieved anything outside of Ghana for the people to be like oh my God you got what I’m saying.
If there are listing big big musicians in the country, it will be Efya, Becca, Wiyaala and then they will start with higher local champions which is like Wendy, etc.”
Wendy Shay has sure heard what Fantana said about her and she replied accordingly. In a post made a few hours ago on her Instagram handle, the ‘Uber Driver’ hitmaker wrote that some people don’t know how to make hit songs but all they know is to make the news.
Wendy then went ahead to brag about how much Bet Planet paid her for an ambassadorial deal.
“Some artiste can create news but can’t create hit songs Ask how much Betplanet paid me…”, she wrote.
Part of Wendy’s message was in German language: “Mit große Zähne macht man keine Hitsongs
Ich mach Kohle Und scheiß auf euch alle”.
It translates as “You don’t make hit songs with big teeth … I make coal and shit on all of you”.
