I was the first Ghanaian rapper to buy luxurious car in Ghana at the age of 19 – Tic Tac brags

Ghanaian musician, Tic Tac real name Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah has taken to his Instagram handle to set records straight that he was the first Ghanaian rapper or hiplife artiste to buy a luxurious car in Ghana.

And that was at the age of 19 in the early 2000s.

The car he bought was limited editions of Crysler Lebaron.

He wrote:

“At age 19 I bought one of the few limited editions of Crysler Lebarons. It was the first luxurious car bought by any Ghanaian hip Life musician / rapper in the early 2000. Classic #TiCFacts #HipLifeHistory”

Tic Tac who now prefers to be simply called ‘TiC’ emerged unto the Ghanaian music scene in 1995.

He was the hottest artiste back then in his prime with his hit songs such as Fefe Na Efe, Philomina among others.

His fame spread like wildfire hence giving him the ability to perform in countries across the world.

He was very popular in Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and other African countries.

For this reason, TiC had enough money to cater for luxuries such as the aforementioned car.
