Founder and Head Pastor of Perez Chapel Church International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, has encouraged Ghanaians to eliminate fear and panic resulting from the Coronavirus outbreak.
He cautioned that individuals must not be consumed with anxiety and entertain fear of the deadly virus adding that “God has His eyes on you.”
In a video campaigning against COVID-19, the man of God averred:“I want to encourage you, do not be afraid. Fear is a spirit and fear has a torment. And what you are afraid of is what will happen to you. You don’t want to be afraid because God has His eyes on you.”
The world has been thrown into a state of despair after the deadly virus which started in the Wuhan Province of China spread widely to other regions globally.
Currently the number of confirmed cases of the COVID-19 stands at over a million worldwide while the number of deaths is hitting 63,000.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Health Service yesterday announced Ghana has since recorded 205 coronavirus cases with a death toll of five.
Bishop Charles Agyinasre thus reiterated the need for Ghanaians to adhere to precautionary measures of washing the hands regularly with soap and under running water, the use of hand sanitizers and observing social distancing as well as staying home.
“As we observe this lockdown you have a choice. If you choose to stay at home, you will save lives and so please stay at home. As stated, the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the frontline of the fight against the novel coronavirus, is your front door. If you cross it, you and your family will likely be infected. So please stay at home. Do not cross your front door.”
