If all could recall In June 2018, Popular Nigerian Singer, Songwriter, Rapper, Entrepreneur and Television personality, Born Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo better known by his stage name D’banj, who has won several music awards, including the awards for Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, Artist of the Year at the MTV African Music Awards 2009, Best International Act: Africa at the 2011 BET Awards, and Best-selling African Artist at the 2014 World Music Awards, Evolution award at the 2015 MTV Africa Music awards etc. lost his son and only child at the time, Daniel Oyebanjo III.
Daniel, who turned one in May of that same year, drowned in a swimming pool at the singer’s Lagos home.
In a post shared on his Instagram page on Saturday morning, DBanj said that for the first time in 21 months after his son’s demise, he was able to sleep in his room.
He said he thought it would be easier after many months but the ‘memories are so fresh.’
He used the post to encourage people going through any personal issues or any hardship due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
