ELECTION 2020: ‘Won’t Be Won By Those With Expertise In Tearing Down Posters Of Opponents -Okudzeto Ablakwa

Former Deputy Education Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has told his colleague democrats not to be provoked by the vindictiveness of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) laying out how the 2020 polls shall be won.

According to him, 2020 elections would not be won by those with expertise in tearing down posters of opponents.

His comment comes on the back of reports suggesting, NPP’s Ursula Owusu ordering for the removal of posters and billboards of her opponents but by those with a superior programme to tear down poverty, unemployment, divisiveness, nepotism, greed and impunity.

He noted that the NDC stands tall ahead of the 2020 elections and they will never be made to lose their hope and give up ahead of December.

The lawmaker for North Tongu was reacting to the alleged destruction of posters and billboards of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Ablekuma West by some supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)

His post read “

The December 7, 2020 elections would not be won by those with expertise in tearing down posters of opponents. It would be won by those with a superior programme to tear down poverty, unemployment, divisiveness, nepotism, greed and impunity. Let all true democrats ignore the provocation”.
