COP/Mr. Andrews Kwasi Gyabaah, who retired from active service in 2005 but continued to help the Ghana Police Service in diverse ways was laid to rest on Saturday 22nd February, 2020 at his hometown, Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono region.
The Inspector General of Police, Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh, Members of the Police Management Board (POMAB), Regional Commanders and several Police Officers joined the bereaved family to mourn the deceased officer.
Also present was the Omanhene of Dormaa, former IGP Nana Owusu Nsiah and executives and members of the National Association of Retired Police Officers (NARPO).
COP Gyabaah joined the Ghana Police Service in 1972 as a Deputy Superintendent of Police and raised through the ranks to become a COP in charge of Technical and Services before his retirement in 2005. He died at the age of 74.
