Ghanaians naturally love NPP — Agyekum Kufuor

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has observed that Ghanaians naturally love the New Patriotic Party (NPP) judging from happenings in time past to present date.

He noted that many share in the vision of the NPP’s ‘Development in Freedom’ because they believe it is only under the NPP they can see meaningful development, Mynews could report.

Addressing delegates at the party’s annual conference at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra on Sunday December 22, 2019, he said “I have come to the firm conclusion that Ghanaians naturally love our party. They share in our vision development in freedom”

The former President emphasized that the citizenry “ know that it is our party that can bring the development our country yearn for and that “successive NPP governments will be what we want them to be based on what we have achieved in past”

To this end, he called on all and sundry in the party to spread the good news of the NPP aimed at winning the support of the citizenry.

Over 6,000 delegates across the 16 Regions are expected to attend the conference which will also provide the platform for deliberations as well as other matters of the party’s interest going into the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

The National Delegates Conference is the supreme governing body of the NPP which brings together over 6,500 party officers across the country including founding fathers, branches abroad, TESCON affiliates, Members of Parliament and government appointees when the party is in power.
