The Cape Coast Court 1B has finally passed it ruling on Awal Suleiman for invading the pitch during the game between Ghana and South Africa last Thursday.
Awal was arrested and charged with disturbing public peace and resisting arrest for which he spent two days in the custody of University of Cape Coast Police.
Celebrities Buzz says the 25-year old nursing student has been fined 200 penalty units for resisting arrest, which is equivalent to GHC 2400, before he was also made to sign a bond of good behaviour.
Videos of the former 400m runner hit the internet making Awal the last sensation in Ghana.
“I like the way he [Partey] plays, I just wanted to have a picture with him and the opportunity I would get is on the field of play and that is why I went there,” Awal Sulemana told JoyNews from his cell.
Lo and behold, he got to meet with Thomas Partey who gave him a signed jersey.
