Taking his turn on the BET Cypher, Michael Owusu Addo, gave a deep and flawless rap verse on a topic that has been on the lips of many celebrities on the continent.

The rapper in his flow did not only advocate for black empowerment but also urged women on the continent to appreciate their natural complexion and desist from bleaching.

The “Adonai” hitmaker said, “Don’t let anybody tell you are not beautiful because you’re black, if you can’t change it and you still continue bleaching then you slack because of the confidence you lack”.

He continued by saying “This is your last warning, beautiful Melanin, dark skin. Let me see your hands if you worship a black queen. Clean the chemicals up with a napkin, throw all the bleaching creams in the dustbin”.

He added that, Africa women should be proud of their scars and stretch marks because there is nothing more stunning than a skin like that and a woman who takes absolute care of it.

Sarkodie did the Cypher alongside Caribbean rapper Kalash.
