Popular Ghanaian actor cum entrepreneur, John Dumelo after his landslide victory in the NDC primaries has vowed to rise above politics. The well-groomed politician indicated he will not allow anything to come between him and the reason why the people voted for him.
In an Instagram post after the win, John Dumelo showed his profound appreciation to all his followers and party elders for the love and support and acknowledging the role family and friends also played in his journey.
His post read,
“I am extremely grateful to Almighty God, my family, friends, loyal delegates and supporters who contributed their time and effort to my campaign.
I want to thank my great party the NDC and the elders for this opportunity. I am deeply moved by the expression of confidence from delegates, people of Ayawaso West Wuogon.
I cannot do this job without the involvement and openness of the people I represent. You have taken the time to share with me your ideas, your concerns, and I sincerely appreciate your willingness to discuss what really matters to you.
Not only have you entrusted me with the responsibility of speaking on your behalf as your parliamentary candidate but you also continue to provide me with the ideas and feedback I need to make this constituency great.
