Renowned Ghanaian comedian and actor Funny Face says comedians are the saddest and loneliest people in this world.
Born Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, who has practice comedy for more than a decade made this statement at year’s International Youth Empowerment Summit (iYES) held in Accra.
The ‘Cow & Chicken’ famed actor said although comedians all around the world are always making people laugh their heart out, they are saddest people and are almost always lonely.
Funny Face observed that comedians do not have anyone to make them laugh or happy when they have problems.
“Comedians are the saddest people on earth. When they go through problems who are they going to talk to? Who is going to make them laugh? Who is going to make them happy?”, he quizzed.
This revelation comes a few days after he made known that he nearly committed suicide when life was tough for him.
Funny Face, who prefers to be called Children’s President and also known as SwagOn-Papa, rose to fame after he featured in TV3 Ghana’s sitcom ‘Chorkor Trotro’.
He has since featured in over twenty (20) movies and drama series. Currently, Funny Face is shooting his self produced movie ‘Kasoa Trotro
